Best of 3 (Best of 5 for loser and winner grand finals)

First stage is random from Neutral List (or Stage Strike). The next stage is announced by the loser of the previous stage. Then the winner picks his/her character, finally loser picks character. This continues until match is done.

Players may ban a stage from the list. If a neutral stage is banned and then appears in random, then the match will restart.

Controller mods of ANY kind (short-hop mod, L-trigger mod, etc), except for cosmetic changes (paint job, different colored plastic), are banned. If you are caught using a banned controller you will be disqualified from the tournament.

Turbo or programmed buttons of any kind are banned. You may use third party controllers or pads that have these features, but if you are suspected of using the banned features you will not be allowed to use that controller any longer.

Glitches used to stop your opponent from controlling their character or indefinitely freezing them, or any glitch or trick that freezes the match or makes it in any way unfinishable are banned. Using them will result in the immediate forfeit of the match. No Infinite Cape Glitch.

Tactics such as Jiggly's Rising Pound and Sonic's Homing Attack are allowed as methods of recovery or to manuever around the stage. Using them (or any similar tactics) to excessively stall a match, such as dropping below levels intentionally and stalling underneath, is banned. Judges will be on the tournament floor can be called in at any time to
enforce this rule during a match.

2 people advance each match.
- The player who lived the longest
- The player with the most kills (not score, but kills)

If there is a tie for who survived the longest, then do the game's Sudden Death.
If there is a tie for the amount of kills, the who ever lived the longest wins.
If the player who lived the longest AND has the most kills, then the player with the second most kills continues. In the even rarer case that there is a tie for the second amount of kills, then whoever lived in the longest of the tied people.

Random with all Stages on (Not Custom Stages)

Final Round:
The last 4 people will do a first to 4 point system.
Players score one point if they came in second (according to our rules above) and two points if they have come in first.

The 2 players from the winner's bracket start with 2 points(the first place person of the winners) and 1 point (the second place person of the winners)

Played with teams of 4 or more.
Captains choose teams. Captains decide who picks first by a coin toss. The team that doesn't have first pick gets to decide the first stage that will be played on.
After teams are choosen and the first stage is announced, the teams break off to decide a fixed positions of players.
In the case of an odd number of players, the team with the most players also decided which position gets an extra stock.

After the positions are determined, the first players on each team battles 1v1, no items, 3 stock (unless the first position was given a stock as stated above).
The player that wins the match must keep the same character and the amount of stock remaining from the last fight.
The losing player is replaced by the next player. The new player picks the stage of the next battle.
Repeat until a team has no players left.

Only one stage is used the whole fight. This is either determined by Stage Striking or Random
Each player decides a starter charcater and 2 alternates. These three positions may be the same character (so you could have 3 Sonics, or one Sonic and two Falcons).
These 3 characters must be used for the enitre tournament.
The starter must stay the same for the enitre tournament as well.

After the stage is determined, each trainer uses their starter for the first match.
The Winner of this first match must keep the same character and the amount of stock from the last fight (like a crew battle).
The loser selects an alternative for the next fight.
Repeat until a trainer has no more characters.

Players must have a name.
Then rotation mode with 3 stock, 10 mins. (If items, on MED)
Switch out as many as possible.
When mentioning Rotation, one must yell "ROTATION!" as yelled when rotation mode is selected.
